I think our knees look better and slimmer when we wear hosiery. I've noticed in most of the pictures of Kate Middleton that she is wearing hose, usually in a "body match" shade. I think sheer to the waist pantyhose are the most comfortable. You can wear a control brief under or over them for tummy control if you need to. Hose also keep your shoes from rubbing the delicate skin on your feet, creating corns and callouses. Hose also make you look more "dressed." I'm weary of the bare leg look. Showing every vein, freckle and imperfection does not contribute to a cohesive look.
