Breast Cancer Awareness Collages

The first collage is how I planned to style this shimmering pink evening gown. I was inspired by the pink ribbon for breast cancer awareness. I chose the velvet rose floral brooch for it's beautiful, natural colors. I would pin it to the left side of the wide sash at the waist giving it a bit of #vintage style. I chose the earrings for the pink Conch pearls which match the floral brooch and the dress. I chose the pink high heel sandals for their color but also the pink crystal embellishments. I think they would look outstanding at the Hi-lo hem of the gown. I chose the pink crystal studded evening bag to match the gown and the embellishments on the heels. I didn't think it would draw too much attention away from the velvet flowers at the waist. 🌸

The second collage was styled by my Lovely Readers on my Kentucky Fashion Facebook page.

When I was looking for a pretty pink evening gown for this challenge I searched for a gown that wasn't revealing at the neckline or bodice. Some breast cancer survivors have not had reconstruction surgery so I wanted to choose a gown that would be modest to honor them. 💟

I appreciate my Lovely Readers participating in my Style Challenges. I hope they have given you something beautiful and interesting in your news feed every week. It's easy to focus on the negative things on Facebook. My goal has been to counteract that negativity with something beautiful, positive and with a bit of fantasy thrown in.  😁

In Celebration of the Burgundy Wine Ranunculus Flower

The first collage is how I styled this Valdrin Sahiti burgundy satin evening gown inspired by the Burgundy Wine Ranunculus flower. I chose the ruby and diamond brooch because it resembles the shape of the flower. I would wear it pinned to the left side of the waist instead of the right shoulder. I chose the ruby and diamond drop style earrings because of the rich color that picks up the deep burgundy of the gown. I chose the Christian Louboutin burgundy velvet high heels because of their texture and crystal embellished bows. I am a fan of wearing satin and velvet together so this was my style opportunity! I chose the crystal embellished Judith Leiber evening bag because of its floral design and it would coordinate with the sparkling diamonds of the jewelry as well as the bows on the heels.

The second collage was is the way the majority of my Kentucky Fashion Facebook Readers styled the gown. I think they did a fabulous job! 🍷
